Thank you, Brian; I won two cases LVNV filed against me.

Thanks to ParkerGPT, I won two cases against LVNV that were heard concurrently in Circuit Court after I lost in District Court! After the loss, I was devastated but subscribed to Killdebt.com and got the help I needed to appeal and prepare for my case. Today I learned the judge ruled in my favor and ordered LVNV to pay for my District Court filing fees! If you would like to use this case for YouTube or interview me about the cases, I am happy to oblige! Thank you again for providing this service. The amount sued for combined was less than $2000, but it bothers me what the debt buyers get away with, and I wasn't going to contribute to furthering the delinquency of the justice system.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose in District Court?

We had a retired judge from a different county come in for our regular judge. This judge did not like Pro Se litigants and actually tried the case for the Plaintiff's attorney. She did not let me speak and said that the debt buyers are too busy with cases to have to prove they own the debt, provide every statement, or have a witness show up in court. So I was railroaded. The appellate judge showed me respect, allowed me to argue, allowed me to request discovery, and, when LVNV's attorney did not comply with her order, lied and said they did. She listened to my argument; LVNV sent a stand-in attorney who knew nothing about the case and could not object to my evidence, and that stand-in attorney had nothing more to offer the court than what was filed in District Court.

Wow! Please file a ethics complaint against that judge cause that isn't right!

    Glad you won your cases!!

You're lucky. The judge in my county is so corrupt. He just prevented me from doing proper discovery. He's the only judge assigned to all the debt cases in my county. I'm not sure of what to do. This is with original bank. I will be getting another lawsuit from a debt buyer. I don't trust that judge in my county won't judge against me again. I'm having a sinking feeling.
Anyway, someone said, who said, that Court of Appeals is where you get real judges and fair hearings.

To Splash and to all, see my videos on the way around this with "rightful" subpoena power. Just ask ParkerGPT. Check your rules but the rules barring discovery are not the same as subpoena rules that are not usually restrictive as you have to have the power for trial. Use it. Just check your state rules first.

    Hello !

Congrats on winning your cases against LVNV !! I just lost a motion for summary judgement against LVNV, but want to appeal. Did you also file a motion to stay when you filed for appeal ?
