I made a huge error and didn't attend my motion for summary judgement hearing. I've been over-worked and stressed from relocating and as a result noted my hearing date for the 10th when it was in all actuality the 4th.
Looks like all that work was for absolutely nothing.
Where do I go from here? The judge obviously ruled in favor of the Plaintiff and the judgement against me is secured....
How soon will they attempt to garnish my bank accounts? Will they be able to seize a paid off car? I need some input....
Should I contact the creditor? If so, what should I do? I don't have the money to pay it.

Only thought I had is if the reason for not attending is a good one, do a Motion for Reconsideration-check the rules in your state. My last two videos poured into ParkerGPT are default judgements and garnishments with plenty of other information on ParkerGPT for protection. Not showing up without an excuse though, Courts don't like that. Hope you get some relief. Good luck.
