Process when responding to discoveries

Eileen · January 16, 2026

1)When I respond to the discovery portion received from the plaintiffs attorney do I need to file my response with the clerk of courts (get it stamped)or do I just respond directly to the attorney via certified mail within the 30 day time frame?

2) If going to the clerk, do I have to provide copies to the clerk of all the documents they're asking for? It's hundreds of pages between statements and copies of copies they've requested.

3) How do I respond under oath?

4)Do I need to make 3 copies of everything (myself, court, plaintiff attorney)?
