I was sued by LVNV in May 2026. I became a member to Killdebt immediately and began working with ParkerGPT. I filed my answer and the ammended answer with counterclaim before the 30 days was up. I sent the lawyers both via Certified with signature. In mid-June the pre-trial hearing and bench trial were scheduled for 10/02 and 10/23. I sent the LVNV lawyers my request for dicovery. This was received via Certified mail with signature. I hear nothing from them. I sent them a Meet-and-confer letter via certified mail with signature giving them 5 additional days before filing a Motion to Compel discovery. I hear nothing.
I filed the Motion to Compel Discovery. The court scheduled a Webex confrence call. I finally hear from the lawyer. It appears that their firm went through a changeover and assigned the named attorneys on their lawsuit with me to a different state. This new lawyer wanted me to cancel the Webex nd give them another 30 days. I refused. At the Webex call, she didn't even attend and had someone else request the Magistrate for a complete retart for 60 days. Obviously I objected. The Magistrate issued a continuance and required all Discovery be delivered by 09/21/2026. I sent the lawyer an email on 09/23/2026 stating that I had not received their Discovery response. She replied with screenshots that their email server blocked the email due to contining personal identifying information. I received their reply later that day.
I sent the lawyer an email requesting they provide complete responses to some of the interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions giving them 5 days before I file another Motion to Compel Further Discovery repsonses and production of documents. I will be filing that on 09/29/2026.
Without ParkerGPT, I would have probably just answered and accepted the summary judgment. I am in Indiana.
