I need guidance ASAP

Hey hey! I just joined and truly hope it was money well spent. Here's my situation:

Short back story: I paid each credit card on time for over 6yrs. Due to a severe and prolonged health challenge I had to stop paying my CCs and focus on keeping the lights on and good on the table. Eventually, my debts went into collections.

I just got a Civil Summons delivered to our door in North Carolina. We just moved here temporarily from California where I got the CCs and etc. However, when we came to NC I had to become a resident to get license plates and registration for a cheap car we needed while being here.

I have 2 other CCs in collections aside from this one that I just got a Civil Summons for. And, maybe 1 more CC will find its way to collections if I cant start paying it on time.

I need to respond the the Complaint. What is an "Answer." And, do I respond to with that from the get go OR do I file other pleadings to buy time before I submit an answer?

Hey, if you are in the Carolinas, that's great news. You may have a great Right to Cure law there where you can't be sued unless they have given (and can prove) the right to cure on the debt. Check out my video or ask ParkerGPT on that. Some states are better than others. California law or your governing law is important to look at too. Lots of resources.

    Oh, good to know about that NC, right to cure.

    I've generated an answer, affadavit, and etc with parker. But, I still don't feel confident enough to file it. I think I'll need to book a consult with you to go over everything and make sure.
