Pinnacle Recovery, Inc.

Brian, I've been doing some research on Pinnacle Recovery and saw that you really took it to those guys. You should make some content on timeshare debt collectors and strategies on dealing with them. It's definitely a niche category but one I think a lot of people are dealing with. Keep up the great content!

Thanks!

I did timeshare work on a large scale down in Florida for a full year. After that and the Obedusky decision where the Supreme Court ruled foreclosure is not regulated by the FDCPA when they seek only to foreclose the note and not seek money, I got out from total frustration. I did a bunch of class actions and filed hundreds of lawsuits in an area that had remained untouched by serious consumer litigation. Now it has blown up "Post Parker" using my FDCPA approach to handling small resorts or collectors like Pinnacle with an added punch. In Florida where most timeshares reside, the FCCPA is very helpful. I am not sure I want to go there anymore. It was a year of constant work and litigation with a heavily funded defense by the big Timeshare companies that I get exhausted just thinking about the episode. But I would counsel anyone in the space, keep it FDCPA and any State Collection Act where they violate that part and avoid the foreclosure part of it. BPP
