I'm hoping to get some answers about what I can expect at my upcoming hearing in a few days. I filed my answer, counter affidavit and counter claim based on some of the example docs Brian has here. I never received a response from the debt collection attorney and his office is 4 hours from where we're having the hearing this Friday. I'm hoping and praying they don't show up but I want to be prepared just in case he does. Anyone have any experiences to share?
Thanks,
Missi

Hi, you don’t say what kind of hearing. If it is a Pre-Trial, I have videos and check lists on how to appear and what to say. ParkerGPT has everything imbedded in it so if you ask the same question and upload the documents, it will give you a pretty good review of what to do and how to work it the best way. Remember, don’t refer to the other side as anything but a debt collector. You have a Question Tag of Discover Bank so I suspect without more info it is Cap One suing on a Discover Bank case. I have a specific video on handling your first court appearance with Cap one and tons on the false information of Cap One trying to show they own a debt there have yet to prove in the merger. Someone will show. Most debt collectors use contract attorneys. Point that out that out to the Court that you showed up but Cap One could not be bothered. Use everything you have at your disposal. Good luck.
