hello,

i gave a few questions:

1) My wife is being summoned to court. the representatives have been knocking on our doors for week trying to serve us. how long can we keep ignoring them before it's too late and we get a judgment ruled against us?

2) she's being sued by amex for an amount of $5,000. I have a debt validation letter that I plan on sending to amex, but do I send a debt validation letter to them or do I send an answer to the county clerk stating that I deny this debt?

3) given that the original creditors are suing us, would you say this is something that I should contact amex and try to settle?
