Complaint Did Not Specifically Claim Jurisdiction or Venue

I have a credit card suit in Ohio from Weltman, Weinberg and Reis.The complaint has no reference to jurisdiction - like the standard we usually see, for example: \"This court is the proper court because defandant is a resident of County of..., state of Ohio.\"Is specifically calling out the reason for jurisdiction required? I have looked in the Ohio Rules of Civil Proceedure and cannot find that it is.Is this relevant to defense?
