Hello, I have a pending case filed against me by American Express. County Clerk stated no case date has been set yet. I do not have the financial means to pay the debt. Do I need to contact Amex about the debt to see if there is a resolution prior to the case being set in court or do I wait for the court summons/court date to be issued? Thank you.
